NEWS & RELEASE NOTES

	Added native support for opening and saving Tag Image File
	Format (TIFF) images.

	Added work-around for opening Greyscale Alpha TIFF images
	using libtiff.

DESCRIPTION

	Image Viewer (IV) is a simple pan & zoom image viewer that
	can view, print, crop, grab, resize, recolor, and animate
	images. It is also capable of editing image headers and
	converting images from one format to another with support
	for many format-specific options. IV uses the GIMP Tool Kit
	(GTK+ 1.2) and is distributed under the GNU Public License
	(GPL Version 1).
