X-CD-Roast 0.98alpha15 supports DVD-Writing with cdrecord-ProDVD.

With a recent version DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW are supported.

Please read this first:

	ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/ProDVD/README

Next download the appropiate binary of cdrecord-ProDVD for your
system from:

	ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/cdrecord/ProDVD/

(For current linux distributions this would be the binary that ends in
 -i586-pc-linux-gnu. e.g. cdrecord-prodvd-2.01a12-i586-pc-linux-gnu)

Copy the downloaded binary of cdrecord-ProDVD to the xcdroast-bin
directory (e.g. /usr/lib/xcdroast-0.98/bin or /usr/local/lib/xcdroast-0.98/bin)
and name it "cdrecord.prodvd".
Call "chmod 755 cdrecord.prodvd" to make it executable.

X-CD-Roast will only use the prodvd version of cdrecord when you set a
media size greater than 1 GB. Non-DVD media will then be written with the
normal version of cdrecord.

Note:
The binaries of cdrecord-ProDVD run only on 2.4.x kernels! If you
have a older kernel, you have to upgrade first.

Now enter your CDR_SECURITY key in the X-CD-Roast setup. If
you don't have one, you can use the "free for private usage" key from the
README above.

When you start now X-CD-Roast you should be able to write DVDs, too.
