gqmpeg-0.91.1-5mdv2009.0.i586.rpm

icecast / shoutcast plugin for netscape (05-24-99)
use at your own risk!

GQmpeg requires mpg123 0.59pre-p or later to work with shoutcast
mpg123 0.59o WILL NOT WORK!

* copy gqmpeg-shoutcast-plugin.sh somewhere (probably being in your
  path is a good idea), make sure it is executable!

* in netscape, do this:

  1) open the preferences dialog (edit menu)
  2) go to navigator->applications
  3) click the New... button
  4) for Description enter Shoutcast (or anything you want to call this)
  5) for MIMEType enter      audio/x-scpls
  6) For Suffixes, enter     pls
  7) Under 'handled by' choose application
  8) in the application field enter "gqmpeg-shoutcast-plugin.sh %s" (no quotes)
      (if the plugin is not in your path, specify the plugin's exact location)
  9) select ok to close the dialog, then ok to close the preferences window

* now, when a server is clicked on the icecast.org ,shoutcast.com, or many
  other live mp3 streaming lists, gqmpeg should open and play
  the stream.. Well it might..

* for .m3u files, do the same as above, but for MIMEType put audio/x-mpegurl and
  for Suffixes, enter m3u .
