Currently, it does this by maintaining an unsigned char array associated with points/cells. To conserve memory, this array is allocated only when it is needed (when <a class="el" href="a01644.html#bafc8710ba22eb06ea2c74a5dc0b942b">Blank()</a> is called the first time).
