gtkgep-0.2.3-6mdv2010.0.i586.rpm

Gtk Guitar Effects Processor ver. 0.2.1
================================================

What is this?
GtkGEP is a programm which turns your computer into real-time effects processor.
These effects are added on-the-fly to sound leaded to your sound card.
GtkGEP is capable of doing any effects that you can imagine, because it uses plugins.
There are some available plugins, however you can write your own plugins to do your effects
You can add up to 32 plugins which are chained together and processed simultaneously.
Every effect can be configured in real-time without stopping a playing, so you can hear
a changes you made. A programm is working with 16-bit samples and sampling frequencies from
11 kHz to 44 kHz in mono mode. But I think a monophonic sound is sufficient for such application.
I made GtkGEP for a guitar, and plugins are written especially for guitar but you can connect
everything to your sound card :)

Requirements:
 - Sound Blaster 16 or other sound card that supports full-duplex operation
 - microphone or other source of sound
 - processor 486DX2 or better
 - X-windows

Libraries needed: gtk-1.2.5 libc-6.0

Instalation:
Go to gtkgep source directory, type: configure; make install

For use with guitar, for first add guitarfilter plugin.
