Si después por ejemplo tiene una fiesta y necesita reproducir sus archivos más altos de lo habitual, suba el volumen (sin mantener pulsada la tecla &Shift;), de forma que todos los archivos se escuchen más altos, y cuando le toque el turno a este archivo, &kplayer; bajará su volumen 10 unidades mientras lo esté reproduciendo, de forma que tenta el mismo nivel de volumen que los demás archivos, y volverá a subir el volumen 10 unidades cuando se mueva al siguiente archivo.</para>

>Otro ejemplo, encuentra un vídeo que está oscuro y necesita reproducirlo con un brillo más alto que los demás vídeos. Mantenga pulsada la tecla &Shift; y arrastre el deslizador hacia arriba. &kplayer; recordará el brillo más alto para este archivo, y volverá al brillo normal cuando reproduzca otro archivo. Imagine que es de noche, y que la siguiente vez que reproduzca los archivos lo hará de día, de forma que desee reproducirlos todos con un brillo alto.
