Right click a measure line. On dialog box select <strong class="userinput"><code>enable timesig</code></strong></p><div class="mediaobject"><img src="../docimages/timesig_change_dialog.png" alt="the timesig changed dialog"></div><p>On time signature panel choose the new numerator and denominator or one of the symbols <span class="inlinemediaobject"><img src="../docimages/comm_symbol.png"></span> or <span class="inlinemediaobject"><img src="../docimages/cut_symbol.png"></span> and press <strong class="userinput"><code>Ok</code></strong>:</p><div class="mediaobject"><img src="../docimages/timesig_change.png" alt="the timesig changed dialog"></div><p>Note! LilyPond has its own rules for choosing symbols <span class="inlinemediaobject"><img src="../docimages/comm_symbol.png"></span> or <span class="inlinemediaobject"><img src="../docimages/cut_symbol.png"></span>.
