To show a chord name use the <a class="link" href="ch01s25.html" title="Chordnames">Chordnames</a> feature.</p></div><div class="note" title="Note" style="margin-left: 0.5in; margin-right: 0.5in;"><h3 class="title">Note</h3><p><a class="link" href="ch01s41.html" title="Export LilyPond">LilyPond</a> does not allow all chord modificators. The modificator remains empty if NtEd has to export such a chord name.</p></div><p>To insert a chord annotation and/or a guitar chord diagram choose:</p><p> <span class="guimenu"><span class="accel">I</span>nsert</span> → <span class="guimenuitem">chord ...</span> </p><p>The chord selection dialog appears</p><div class="mediaobject"><img src="../docimages/chorddialog.png" alt="the chord dialog"></div><p>Choose a root and a modifyer. If you want to place a guitar chord diagram you should also select your preferred diagram by clicking on it in the right window.
