The following modules interface the DS: </P><UL><LI><P><A href="../system/node53.html#chapter.dpinit">DPInit</A>: Initialization of the DS. </P></LI><LI><P><A href="../system/node54.html#chapter.dpstatistics">DPStatistics</A>: Various statistics on the performance of the DS. </P></LI><LI><P><A href="../system/node48.html#chapter.remote">Remote</A>: Spawning remote processes. </P></LI><LI><P><A href="../system/node52.html#chapter.fault">Fault</A>: Handling failure in customized ways. </P></LI><LI><P><A href="../system/node47.html#chapter.connection">Connection</A>: Creating tickets and taking for bootstrapping connections.</P></LI></UL><P> </P><P>There is also a set of properties that affect the behavior of the DS. These settings affect all distributed activities for the whole site so they should be used with care.
